The rooms are medium sized with a neutral decor and simple, country style. They are, however in very good condition, whilst the bathrooms are in good condition. The restaurant is located on the ground floor, and has been recently renovated in a modern light style. The warm atmosphere is very inviting. There is also a bar area with outside seating during the fine weather periods. The building is modern, but featureless in design and looks like an office or apartment block. There is a coverd pathway leading to the front entrance. The lobby and reception area is medium sized with a semi circular reception desk straight on through the front door. The lobby area is tiled with marble and a central glass chandelier provides a stylish touch. This is a very good hotel for the traveller who wants to explore Karlsruhe. Overall this is a no nonsense product, particularly practical as a baden baden alternative due to good links to the a5 motorway.
